A picture is worth a thousand words and video...well, it's priceless. We had an opportunity to visit the Narito Academy After School program. The children performed four outstanding numbers for us and then asked us to perform. Luckily there is no video of us performing only a picture! But watch these young stars melt your heart away! Enjoy!

First Week Wrap Up
The first week was amazing! I think we have all gotten over our jet lag and are adjusting to the language difference. We have been to at least 4 different Rotary Clubs and some have switched host families 3 times. The Rotarians are super friendly and extremely accommadating. I think the favorite thing so far has been the Japanese Onsen. It's the Japanese version of a luxury spa. We are a group of all women! :-)

First Week in Japan
After a two hour flight from GSP, five hour wait in Chicago, and 13 hour flight to Tokyo. We finally made it! We were greeted warmly by the GSE Rotary 2590 group. We received a full day of rest before jumping into the many activities which included meeting the past district governors, current governor, inbound team (all ladies as well), and representatives from over 50 rotary clubs in the district. We have also meet with a House of Representative Member, visited the Supreme Court, met with the Minister of Justice, visited the Kawasaki Temple, and a panel from the Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce. And we have only been here 4 days! There is so much more to come.
The rest of this week, we are going to three more Rotary clubs, TV station, Kawasaki City council, and traditional Japanese Karaoke!
Stay tuned for pictures!
